Pesto Parm Pastry Straws
This simple crowd-pleaser is pure genius. It’s easy to make, yet looks and tastes like an event-worthy hors d’oeuvre. Perfect for a casual cocktail party, when revelers want to munch on delicious apps without ever having to set down that glass of Bourbon Barrel-aged Cabernet Sauvignon.

Ingredients:
- 1 package (17.3 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- ½ cup prepared pesto
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Unfold puff pastry sheets on lightly floured surface. Roll each sheet into a 12-in. square.
Spread pesto onto one pastry sheet, leaving ¼ inch of space around edge. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with remaining pastry, pressing lightly.
Cut pastry into twelve strips, one inch wide. Twist each strip four times. Place two inches apart on baking sheets, pressing down ends.
Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
